In the COVID-19 era, Invest KOREA replaces traditional ways of promotion

Invest KOREA (IK), Korea’s national investment promotion agency, was established as part of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to support the entry and establishment of foreign businesses in Korea. KOTRA’s work in the COVID-19 era was presented at OECD’s 5th Investment Promotion and Facilitation, on October 21, 2020.

The staff includes KOTRA employees, specialists and seconded officials from government ministries and agencies. The agency works closely with the network of 36 overseas investment-focused offices. Invest KOREA implements foreign investment policies formulated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy and the Foreign Investment Committee.

INVEST KOREA WEEK 2020

Invest KOREA Week (IKW), hosted by Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy(MOTIE) and organized by Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) is Korea’s largest international investment promotion event.

This year’s IKW will allow Participants to:

  • Attend various investment conference and seminars
  • Network with foreign and domestic company executives and high-level government officials
