Trade and investment promotion agencies are developing online COVID-19 related content and services for companies to help them overcome the crisis.

 

Switzerland Global Enterprise launched an Information portal providing needed information about the effects of Corona for doing business internationally, Government’s economic measures of support, news from the markets, and online advisory services as well. The portal contains the following categories:

  • Movement of goods and persons:Information and measures of the Federal Customs Administration (FCA)
    • List of open border crossings and ‘green lanes’ updated by the Swiss Federal Customs Administration (FCA).
    • With immediate effect, the FCA is implementing the following measures to reduce the burden on its corporate customers:
      • For payment by installments, the customer’s financial situation will be taken into account
      • Waiver of increased collateral in case of a shortfall in collateral
      • Suspension of all reminders
      • Waiver of reminder fees and interest on arrears
